Hello everyone and welcome to a new sneak peek of Lucky Paradox.

First, I would like to apologize for not posting last week's progress report. I was exhausted due to the extensive testing process required to complete the 0.9 alpha release and while catching up on some sleep, I felt it would be more appropriate to postpone this progress report.

Over the past few weeks, my focus has been on completing both the Alpha release and addressing all the bugs reported by Patrons who tested the Early Access Beta release. Since this is a significant update, this process has demanded additional effort, especially given the large number of new options that have been introduced for both Luna, and most importantly, Tarot. This has necessitated additional balancing and testing to ensure that it does not negatively affect the game experience.

The Tarot system was conceived to invest money to increase the love and lust levels of various girls, with a few exceptions, such as Sasha, for lore reasons. In general, most girls can gain relationship levels through this system. However, my goal was to balance the system so that it would be neither overly expensive nor too affordable, allowing the highest levels of relationship with the entire cast to be achieved without undue effort.

Though I am already aware of players who are practically millionaires in the LP world due to the seniority of their games, in their case it's a well-deserved reward, hahaha!

It's quick to say, but believe me, it's not as simple as it sounds. You need to consider a lot of different possibilities and paths that players can take throughout the story, without breaking events or game progression. For this reason, I have not currently invested time in a more elaborate graphical interface, as in the case of the Fanart museum or the Potions system, until I am sure that everything works properly with a fair balance.

Last Thursday, I have already finished version 0.9, which includes Luna and Yui's content for now (It is necessary to move forward and not get stuck), and I think that everything has been working properly :)

Apart from everything mentioned above, there are also two issues that I need to dedicate time and attention to. The first one is planning for the next update, and the second one concerns my health.

Perhaps some players who have been following Lucky Paradox for a while may remember that a few months ago I faced some heart problems. However, due to my desire not to stop the development of the game, I continued working and postponed medical attention. Now, I have resumed the necessary tests, and I am seeking treatment. I would not want to face an unexpected event that would result in a rescheduled release, or in the worst case, put my life at risk. For now, I just need to take a few days to do the tests that will allow me to monitor my heart health and get enough rest.

However, I can't stop my mind from racing, so I've already started doing all the necessary planning for the 0.9.1 release. Right now, I have a lot of exciting ideas that I want to make happen, but I don't want to overload myself with work beyond what I can handle, haha!

Next on my list to receive content are Charlotte and/or Prim, and if all goes as planned, some content for her cousin Iris. Layla's update will be postponed a bit, as I also plan to add content for Celestine, who has been a bit neglected so far.

I don't dare to provide too many details about this yet, as in the planning phase many ideas can be modified, and I don't want to generate false expectations. However, my intentions in this regard are clear.

I'm excited to bring all the ideas I have in my mind to the world of Argleton as soon as possible, so that all of you can enjoy all the new features and new content!
