Hello everyone and welcome to a new sneak peek of Lucky Paradox

This time I have come with a shorter post, but also with some news.

During the first week of work, I have dedicated myself to do everything necessary to finish the 0.8.5 update, besides adding a small "secret" event with Tomoe, which will only be activated if we have unlocked her previous events and Mary is active during working hours.

It was quite an exhausting testing phase, as this update included quite a lot of content, plus the file compilation method was changed, to make it possible to download Update Patches.

As Lucky Paradox has become quite a heavy game, it could also make it difficult for players to access new content, so adding this option to download Update Patches, makes it possible to access the new content by copying and pasting only what is needed in the game folder.

For now this option will only work to update from version 0.8.4 to 0.8.5, so to facilitate access, I have decided to release version 0.8.4 to the public on Thursday of this week (May 4th), so that it will be possible to work with this method from now on.

For those who are not aware, version 0.8.4 includes new content for Charlotte, it is not a huge update like the ones you are used to see, but it will be quite significant for those who follow Charlotte's story, and it will also have big consequences in its future content.

After finishing the Alpha of version 0.8.5, I've taken the weekend off, since I needed some time to check some health problems (it seems to be a heart problem, but I still must take some tests) and since a few weeks ago I haven't taken some days off, since I work from Monday to Sunday hahaha

During the second week, I've been fixing the bugs that have been reported from the Alpha version and preparing everything needed for the Beta release. I think I've fixed everything, but since it's a big update, there is still a chance that there are some bugs left to catch.

I've also started the planning phase for the next update, although I can't talk in detail about it yet, as I still must finalize a lot of ideas and make a lot of adjustments before moving on to the more technical area.

Remember that the next public release (version 0.8.4) will be on Thursday of this week, May 4th.

If you use the itch version, the game will update the new content automatically, so you don't have to worry about downloading everything from scratch :)
