Hey everyone and welcome to a new sneak peek of Lucky Paradox

Before I talk about the progress on Lucky Paradox this week, I wanted to thank each one of you who sent me messages of support, I honestly thought that the response to last week's post would be negative, but it was totally the opposite.

Thank you so much for being such a wonderful community and giving me so many positive vibes during this difficult time for me. I think that sometimes a few words of kindness at the right time give a lot of strength to move forward <3

Now let's get to this week's previews.

Shizuka and Kaede's story has been completed, honestly, I think it was a bit longer (that was she said) than I thought. Comparatively, I could say that in length it surpasses Shizuka's side story, even so, I'm trying to edit everything to keep it concise, but sometimes I get carried away creating new content, especially when it comes to funny dynamics between the characters. Let's see how this all turns out...

I'm also about to finish the transition that marks the change of season, like what happened during the month of October with Halloween, the Christmas days will have a special transition, however this time it's a bit more complex, since the map of Argleton will have some limitations due to the snow. Some places will disappear from the map during these days, like the beach or the pier, and others will suffer variations, like the Shogukuni.

I don't rule out adding the seasons to the game in the future, but that would be too ambitious at the moment, and I want to focus only on Christmas for now.

There has also been progress on some new renders, which will be the visual support for the new special events. More than a hundred renders have already been finished for the next update, although there are still many to do, I think that with all the previous work this should go faster.

In terms of code, there has also been progress, although there are still many exceptions to be corrected. Ideally, during the snow days there should be no significant advances in the main plot, as it could generate some consistency problems in the story. I know that it sounds simple, but it is necessary to try hundreds of possible variants and hunt each one of them, so it has been a process that has needed a lot of time.

My intention is to have the update ready a few days after Christmas, so I will keep working hard to achieve that goal. I don't want to give an exact date yet as there are a lot of details to fine tune and testing to be done, like what happened with the Halloween events.
