Progress Sneak Peek - August 30
Hello everyone and welcome to a new sneak peek of Lucky Paradox!
During this week I've been working in different areas of Lucky Paradox, I think it's been a fun creative process that has helped me to experiment with better ideas.
As I had communicated through Patreon during the week, the long hours of work to recover the time lost due to file corruption had me exhausted, so I decided to take two days off to be able to sort my ideas and recover hours of sleep, I think it has been the best thing I could do, as it has changed my perspective of the content I was working on.
I’ve been reading again the script of the content that will be added in the next update I have found some flaws that have not made me feel completely satisfied, there were certain scenes that felt too long, with lack of rhythm (for my taste at least) or simply did not show fully the idea I wanted to represent, so I decided to make a big edit to the content (deleting about 40% of what was written) and organize everything in a more dynamic way.
I really think that in terms of content this has been the hardest chapter to write (hahaha), however, I had to sacrifice and cut things that are irrelevant to keep the story more dynamic and to be able to add more fun content. Likewise, I try to make every little part of the story a contribution to what will be the big picture at the end. I have also decided to add an extension to Layla's content, where it will be possible to know even more details about her story.
So, for now and after editing I could say that Layla's story is about 80% and Gia story is about 50% and during this week it should be finished, so I can concentrate my efforts on the art of the game.
On the other hand, sometimes I like to make some concepts for future updates and during my days off I was thinking about some interesting ideas that could be added. Like some swimsuits for the Dragons.
I like the concept of it being a special bikini uniform, like the one they wear during their training and their martial artist clothes, just moved to a more casual environment. This would add an alternate swimsuit for each of the Dragons and Yui (Which is not pictured, but would be a variation in black). However, I would like to know your opinions, I personally think it would be a cool thing to add alternative clothes to secondary girls.
Lastly, I've done some general re-testing to hunt down some wild bugs I've been able to find recently. Although I've been analyzing the idea of making a small improvement to the "Social Tab" and change the arrow for a vertical scroll, this way it would be faster to navigate between the profiles of each character, since pressing many numerous times to get to the third or future fourth page of characters, could become tedious in the long run.
And that's all for this week!
Thank you very much to everyone who has actively supported the development of Lucky Paradox!
I wish you a beautiful week and I hope to be back soon with more news <3

Now thats hawt ;3
That "vertical scroll" option for the social tab sounds like a great idea and more games like this need to implement something like it. I appreciate it when developers have good Quality of Life stuff like this so I don't have to click through menus as much to see pertinent information.
