The crash is intentional when you enter that room for the first time but you should be able to load your auto save or hit continue and be where you left off. Are you playing on windows or android?
It can go through the rpa file that does not recognize it perfectly , If not, it is already a bug that may have already been fixed in this new version.

Yes xD if you go to your room there is a star icon in the bottom right of the screen. If it’s not there, make sure you’ve have Prim, Layla, Maxy, Charlotte, Yui and Sasha’s profiles unlocked then continue Sasha’s main story a bit and you will unlock it

In the profiles for the girls will tell you what you have left to do. Their main story is the box underneath the hearts. If it says work in progress then you are caught up. On the right side of the profile is an events tab. If it says available then you have something you can do. If they say work in progress then those are caught up too
Scrolled back over a year, and didn't see it, but i thought the tournament had been included. I think that was the reason for the download format change, and i had to stop playing. I have not found it in this current version, other than beating the red and blue dragon. Am I missing something, or did it never happen?
Red and Blue dragon fights were part of your pilgrimage. The first part of the tournament was the last story Yui. The second part was recently released in the latest update on Patreon
Hmmmmmm, it says i finished yui, but i never got past the pilgrimage. Unless the meeting was it. I thought there would be fighting, but i could be remembering it incorrectly. I believe it has been well over a year since i read it
The pilgrimage is the trainings with Kaede first then Shizuka. There is a bit of fighting with those but it hasn’t happened yet with the tournament part yet xD

The point of that scene is to show the world of Argleton is a lot bigger than you think. It is the last scene for Maxy and Mary’s content currently but for 0.8.6 public version there is still Sasha and Liz content :)
The Lucky Paradox compressed version for windows/linux is being downloaded as a rar file instead of the usual zip and is giving error when you try and open archive (cannot open file as archive).
No windows. My usual archive tool that normally opens zip & rar files throws an error will not open it (have tried re-downloading but get the same result).
I'm guessing the itch upload tool has screwed up this file, I see this with other games occasionally (the uncompressed version is in the usual zip format).
Oh ok interesting. If you use the itch launcher and install it from there, it will allow you to update it immediately when a new public release is available. Patreon works too, but strange it is doing that. I’ll have to check it
(From the other games) I think the only fix is to check setting & re-upload it again. (I don't use the upload tool so I don't know the circumstances that cause this occasional screw up.)
