You need an app that can access the game files and take the save files out before you delete or update the game. I'm using "file manager +" to do it cause the new default file manager don't have that feature anymore (some privacy BS rule). You don't really need to take out save file if you're just gonna update, but it's better to get a copy for reasons.
But for other devs that keep changing game systems, it might give some problems and just corrupt the files, and you don't have a choice but to start over.

There is an option to start from where you previously left off with the continue button in the main menu. It wouldn’t work at first with the enhanced update because it started fresh. Once you make a save though it will work

I was already at the very end of the last version, and even if the new version is sped up, it's going to be very annoying to have to do everything all over again. Why couldn't you have added an option to skip to where the last version left off, prefaced with a few selection options, to let the game know what (game-changing) choices a player had made in the previous version? Lots of RenPy games do that, especially whenever such a save-conflicting update is made.
The code is different and has different choices with different consequences, compared to the old version.
That solution you propose would only work in a linear game, but in LP you can progress in the order you want, with the girls you want and there are some choices that remain between save games (even if you start a new game, that choice persists). Less than 5% of the total content is mandatory and it would be a titanic job to track all that progress for each player's save game.
However, there is a complete save file (with standard choices) in the discord community, if you don't want to start over.
I love this game. But I'm unsure on how to progress. I'm 250 days in and I've beaten the red and blue dragons now all characters in the social menu just say new events in the future and event are all work in progress. There seems to be no way to progress further in the game.
In the social menu if it says “Work in Progress” then that is all the content for that activity for the current update. If it says “unavailable” then you need to progress the story further to unlock it. If it says “available” then obviously there is content you can do now

I've been playing the game since roughly October of last year and have been enjoying it exponentially since I began.
I want to get the bad out of the way quickly: every so often, there's some strange vernacular and/or grammar with the English translation of the game. That's literally the only problem I have.
The characters in this game are wonderful, the story is interesting with its parallel world concept, and the general direction of the game is just wonderful. The music choice is also very relaxing and the game just radiates a "chill" atmosphere. Stawer really puts his everything into this game, and it shows.
As if this weren't enough, he went ahead and overhauled the game to flow easier at the beginning. Heck, the new UI he put into place is also fantastic. Every update adds a ton of great content and makes Argleton come alive even more. This game's top quality and I have to recommend people try it.
i just got thescene with layla where she said that she wants to be only friends did i fuck up or will there be an option to go beyond that? or did i choose too many girls instead of rejecting them? Oh and btw Loving thw game so far
Nope, but I'm sure you're gonna work it out sir even tho I only played it for like 5 minutes I can already tell that it's a very good game. Shame I had to uninstall coz my stupid phone can't handle it

You might want to go to Prim's bedroom after your shift, Yui is talking to her about helping in the restaurant. After that she should be back.
If you click on the heart it will tell you what to do

You need to start with a new save in the enhanced update because much of the code was redone and old saves can cause issues

I played 0.6.3 tons but when I go to install 0.6.5 my phone downloads it fine but stops the installation like 90% in to it. Please help.
