Now, getting down to business…

These weeks have been focused on finishing the 0.8 update, where I had to redo some things that I thought were finished, refactoring some of the code that was giving more problems than necessary and make a first stable version with all the content working.

The first thing was to remake Mary's depravation event, since it has a strange approach to what has been seen so far in the game. We could say that there are two situations occurring in parallel, where we can see what is rising on one side through the dialogues and sounds, while the images show what is happening in the "other" place. It is complex to explain, but when you see it, you will understand what I mean xD

I think the final result is quite funny, and I must admit that I had a lot of fun playing with new concepts.

The other problematic part of the content is about birthdays and the dynamic calendar. During the testing of the isolated code, the system worked without problems, but when adding the renders and other stuff some inconsistencies occurred, but at least it has been fixed, so it is now possible to get all the information for each girl.

The rest has been to complete the renders that were still pending, which were more than 400 (considering those that were redone in Mary's event) and some animations.

So, with this, all the necessary visual content of the 0.8 version has been finished, as well as the code, music themes and writing. All in all, it's 20-25% bigger in story content than version 0.7, not to mention a lot of new playable features (lot of those).

So, when will the public release date be?

As the Alpha was released on Wednesday last week, the public release date will be July 29th, so I have enough time to polish the update as much as possible.

In the meantime, I will be rebalancing the new gameplay aspects that were introduced and fixing some complex bugs that I left behind.
