Hello everyone!

I know I said that there would be no more builds for Android, well guess who was wrong… The thing is I wanted to keep trying to find a solution hahaha

Currently, I've been limited because renpy, the engine I work with to create Lucky Paradox, has problems to compile apk that weights more than 2 Gb, so I had been actively working on increasing that limit a little, to keep developing the android version, but I kind of lost hope.

Then a few days ago, a user called DahliaRose (Thank you very much!) spoke to me on Discord and showed me a method that allows to compile Android apk making two files, an apk with the game code and a file that contains all the resources of the game.

The best thing about this version is that it allows to move the saves between updates or import them from the PC version in an easier way (Yes, Including the Joiplay saves), because the files were protected in a place of android data that was really difficult to reach, mostly thanks to the new versions of android.

So, I have invested these last days in testing as much as possible in this new version, making some necessary changes to avoid technical failures and adding some details to the apk.

The only disadvantage is that it requires some extra steps to be installed, but anyway it is a way better alternative than Joiplay, which needs more steps and when emulated can present incompatibility or performance problems.

The steps to install this new apk are the following:

• 1. Install the apk
• 2. Go to the new created location, should be: INTERNAL MEMORY > DOCUMENTS > RENPY_SAVES > LUCKY.PARADOX > GAME
• 3. May vary between Android versions and phones.
• 4. Copy & Paste archives.rpa.
• 5. Enjoy!  

In any case, we’re going to make a more detailed guide in the discord server.

For now, I will be watching the performance of this new apk, just in case any problems appear, to try to fix them as soon as possible.

There may appear some problems depending on each phone and Android version, but this is out of my control :c

The links with the Android version have been updated in their respective posts (0.8.3 and 0.8.4), so you can enjoy them from now on.
